The first “Building Our Future Toy Conference” took place at the start of the International Toy Fair in Nürnberg on 3 February 2010. At the conference, a small selected group of international experts from a variety of segments of the toy industry discussed the future of the world of toys.

The conference focused on topics such as the international toy business, the importance of virtual worlds, future retail assortments and questions of international harmonization of safety directives.
The event was chaired by Richard Gottlieb, President of USA Toy Experts.
